Supersport vs Manchester City July 14, 2013

Manchester City and Arsenal both kick off their pre-season campaigns this afternoon, with the Blues taking on Supersport at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria and the Gunners bidding to get off to a winning start against the Indonesia XI in Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta.

Manuel Pellegrini will be keen to win his first game in charge of City, who kick off at 2pm GMT. Arsene Wenger's side get things under way at 2.45pm.

Sportsmail's Chris Wheeler is in South Africa watching City and Sami Mokbel is in Jakarta watching Arsenal. Both will be sending regular updates throughout.

The Manchester City team is in too: Hart, Richards, Kompany, Garcia, Kolarov, Barry, Fernandinho, Razak, Suarez, Nasri, Dzeko

Here's the first update from Sami Mokbel in Jakarta.

'Just under two hours to kick off here in a humid Jakarta ahead of Arsenal's first pre-season match of the season against an Indonesian Dream Team and the atmosphere is already building here at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.

'It will be interesting to see how the pitch holds up after an entire day of rain yesterday. If there's even the slightest doubt over the pitch then surely Arsene Wenger will not risk his key players today.  It'll be interesting to see what team the manager selects.'
