E3 PlayStation 4 press conference June 10, 2013

Gamers can get a first look at the upcoming PlayStation 4 video game console during Sony’s media briefing this evening at 6 p.m. PDT.

Months after revealing the existence of the PlayStation 4, Sony is expected to offer the first look at hardware during their press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

Sony is also expected to discuss the future of the PlayStation 3 and the PS Vita handheld console at the event, which comes before the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, the largest video game trade show in the world.

Although E3′s doors at the Los Angeles Convention Center won’t open until early Tuesday, heavy hitters such as Microsoft, Sony, Electronic Arts and Ubisoft were holding arena-sized conferences Monday to get ahead of – and control — the media cycle.

WWDC 2013 June 10, 2013

It’s that time again! This morning, Apple CEO Tim Cook will take the stage at the company’s own Worldwide Developers Conference to unveil everything they’ve worked so hard to keep secret for the past many months.

We’ll be seeing iOS 7 for the first time — thats pretty much certain. But what else? Will we see a new version of OS X? New MacBooks? Apple’s fabled Pandora competitor, perhaps?

You’ll have to tune in to find out. We’re live at the keynote, and we’ll be bringing you all of the news as it breaks with our up-to-the-second live blog.

The keynote is scheduled to begin at 10 AM PT (12PM Central, 1 PM Eastern, 6 PM London), but we’ll be bringing you photos and commentary from the scene beginning at about 9 AM — so get here early!

Apple's iPad mini event back in October, and at the time the event was also available for streaming for Mac users through Safari. Although Apple hasn't announced any plans to broadcast the keynote over the web, we wouldn't be surprised if it adds a live video stream to its event page soon. The keynote will kick off at 1PM ET, and we're expecting Apple to detail its new desktop and mobile OSes, as well as some refreshed hardware.

Update: As expected, Apple's event page is showing the WWDC 2013 keynote address. According to Apple, the stream will only be viewable through Safari on OS X, or Safari on iOS 4.2 onwards.
