Georgia only has five points and can gain a maximum of 11; they would be eliminated from contention if they lose or France wins or draws against Belarus on Tuesday. Georgia started their tournament off with a 1-0 win over Belarus before pushing Spain to the limit in a 1-0 loss. The team then drew 1-1 with Finland before being trounced 3-1 in France. In their most recent game, the Georgians shocked the French by holding them to a scoreless draw.


Teemu Pukki leads the Finnish with two of their three goals in qualifying; meanwhile three Georgians have provided goals for their nation in this tournament. Finland has conceded six times in the tournament while Georgia has allowed seven goals.
