Salzburg also looked to have won after Alan’s 68th minute strike, only for the Turkish side to be awarded a spot-kick in the fifth minute of stoppage time — converted by fellow Brazilian, Cristian.

Very soon we will be here. Coach Aykut Kocaman will hope his side secures a respectable result in Austria as they push for a place in the Champion League group stage Fenerbahce will face a very tough task in Austria as they slug it out with home side, Red Bull Salzburg, for a ticket to the 2013/2014 Champions League. The Turks had their ban overturned by Uefa after the European football governing body had announced their dismissal from the tournament following allegations on match-fixing in the Turkish League. For the Red Bulls who are yet to reach the group stage of the Champions League despite been crowned champions of the Austrian League no less than four times since 2005, this will be an avenue to make a bold statement in European football that they possess the qualities that can make them compete with the big boys in Europe. Despite losing the league title last season, they are amazing with Ladbrokes to secure maximum point against Aykut Kocaman’s side. They are priced at 11/8 (2.36) to do so. The visitors who made the last four of the 2012/2013 seasons are underdogs in this pairing to win at 15/8 (2.86), while the draw is available at 2/1 (3.00). Their recent win over reigning champions Austria Wien is a testimony that coach Roger Schmidt’s side are on top of their game. Taking that into consideration, there may be some value in odds of ¾ (2.75) for both teams to win either half offered by Ladbrokes.

Manchester United vs AIK Stockholm August 6, 2013

The Red Devils breezed past Hong Kong side Kitchee with a 5-2 win in their last pre-season game with the likes of Jesse Lingard, Danny Welbeck, Adnan Januzaj and Wilfried Zaha all staking a claim for their involvement in new manager David Moyes' first-team plans for the upcoming season.

Wayne Rooney (shoulder) misses out on the friendly despite Moyes' claim earlier this summer that the England international would make a return to the first-team squad for the game.

United insist Rooney is not fit to play because he injured his shoulder in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Real Betis.

All of this comes after the club rejected a second offer from Chelsea for Rooney on Monday.

Nemanja Vidic does return for what will be his first pre-season appearance but the eye-catching duo of Lingard and Januzaj, who both netted in United's previous outing, have stayed at home.

Chelsea 2-0 Ac Milan August 4, 2013

Chelsea have four wins in four this preseason, scoring fifteen goals to the opposition's two, but, as Jose Mourinho has pointed out, those wins are worth a grand total of zero points, so we shouldn't get too carried away even after dispatching teams like Inter Milan without a problem. It's still cool that we could do a Milanese double, though -- AC Milan are the other half of our next friendly, which is taking place in New York on Sunday.

Arsenal vs Galatasaray August 4, 2013

The Emirates Cup concludes Sunday with two more matches, and we'll be bringing you live updates from Arsenal's clash with Galatasaray from 16.20 GMT.

Galatasaray, champions of the Turkish Super Lig last season, defeated Porto 1-0 in their Emirates Cup opener on Saturday. Arsenal, who finished fourth in the Premier League last May, drew 2-2 with Napoli after falling behind 2-0 in the first half.

Kickoff: Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, 16.20 GMT (11:20 a.m. ET)

3 indicates that Arsenal fans actually booed their club as they headed off the field for halftime of their opening game against Napoli. The Gunners were down 2-0 at that point, with fans displeased by the performance their home team put on display. However, Arsenal battled back in the second half to make it a 2-2 draw in the international friendly matchup. The Yahoo! report goes on to mention that it wasn't the entire crowd booing, just a smattering, but it was still noticeable enough and strange for this sort of pre-season contest.

In the other opening contest, Galatasaray took down FC Porto 1-0 behind a Felipe Melo penalty shot. The win gave Galatasaray a total of four points - one for their goal and three for the win. So far in the Emirates Cup, they are the only team to have recorded a victory, and now lead the standings, as the other game resulted in a 2-2 draw. Porto had several missed penalties in their opener, and will look to make up for those mistakes with their next contest against Napoli on Sunday.

The Napoli vs. FC Porto game time is scheduled for 8:55 a.m. EDT, with both Spanish and English presentation available online. Arsenal vs. Galatasaray goes on at 11 a.m. EST in Spanish, and 11:15 a.m. EST for English coverage.

Napoli vs FC Porto August 4, 2013

The Italians enter the game after a 2-2 draw against Arsenal on Saturday. Napoli were two goals up at half-time but conceded late goals. Lorenzo Insigne opened the scoring for Rafael Benitez's side and Goran Pandev doubled the lead before the half-hour mark. However, the Gunners came back in the final quarter. France international Olivier Giroud continued his impressive pre-season run and scored the first, while compatriot and centre-back Laurent Koscielny equalised four minutes from time.

Meanwhile, Porto come into this fixture after a 1-0 defeat to Turkish champions Galatasaray in the opening fixture. Brazilian Felipe Melo scored the only goal from a spot kick.

Porto were handed two penalties of their own by match official Andre Marriner. However, the Portuguese outfit failed to convert either chances - Jackson Martinez shot straight at the goalkeeper and midfielder Lucho Gonzalez could only manage to drag the ball well wide of goal.
